Corvin, Mazzie, and Willow Celebrate 4th of July Together

We love the Butterworths! Thanks so much for coming out. We had a great time.

Claire (my best friend since high school), Charlie (her husband, great photographer and creative person, and generally awesome person extraordinaire), and Willow (thier daughter who is 2.5 months older than Corvin and Mazzie) spent a long 4th of July weekend with us. The dark part of our weekend came when Mazzie broke her arm while playing in the puppet theater at our town's library (she fell off of a shelf that kids stand on to put on the puppet shows, but according to the librarian, aren't supposed to. Why is it there, then?) Mazzie the Amazing did her usual thing and recovered and was playing in the back yard later that afternoon. She is doing great and will be out of her cast in just two weeks. Little bones heal fast!

See, Mazzie looks pretty happy, and that's her first day after she broke her arm.
